First Trinity started as a Danish Lutheran church in 1868 in downtown Indianapolis on corner of Noble & McCarthy, with the thought that anyone entering its doors would be truly open to God’s word. The congregation moved to its current address in 1952 and has been serving the Indianapolis Metropolitan area for 152 years.
